“Alexander Technique?? What is that?” you ask.

We humans spend much of our lives, from a very early age, reacting to internal or external stimuli in a compressed, unhealthy manner.  The Alexander Technique (A.T.) is a way of mitigating these reactions and learning how not to compress the body. Through A.T. work a person can undo habits of life that create unexplained pain, stress and fatigue for which a doctor has no explanation or remedy.

Alexander Technique is a mind/body process through which anybody can learn how to move through life with less pain and more ease.   With a mindfulness approach A.T. teaches you how to change your thinking about how you move through your daily activities and offers practical, sustainable results and can enhance your enjoyment of everyday life.
